| That is a good idea, but unfortunatly we run into problems about ethics of teaching about such things and teaching kids too early. Which is the reason even some HS schools cant even teach about STDs. My brother thought that maybe Football teams or soccer teams should be tested when doing the physical schools require to play. Alot of great ideas out there. Maybe your school will be different. I talked to the principal for my HS and she thought about doing it in health class when they talk about STDs, but again, it was only my Sr yr and when I last visited the health class doesnt cover anything about safe sex, stds, or cancers. If you want to try and talk to your school and get more of the message out there. I and David will definitly help you compile a list of what was more suitable for my HS and it really does take alot of courage to admit you had something so personal. More power to you. |
